Adelaide’s blessed to have hundreds of winery cellar doors within easy reach. The Barossa Valley and Eden Valleys, McLaren Vale, Currency Creek and Langhorne Creek are all less than an hour away, and the Adelaide Hills and Adelaide Plains are even closer.
But sometimes you don’t have time to head out of town to taste wine, or perhaps transport is a problem. Luckily these are many places in Adelaide’s metropolitan area to try wine. Some venues are located in the CBD, others might be close to your home in the suburbs.
Here’s a list of local independent venues that hold tastings regularly. Contact them, or check our Adelaide Tasting Calendar (coming soon) for details of tasting times and wines.
